This is going to be new and confusing for a while. The demo has no unlocks .
Its slighty more GPU intensive than BF2, and there is so many different thing to do, I'm overwhelmed.
My favorite part, I think will be the huge amount of customization you can do to your player. You can pick which unlock to use from huge lists, and allows for many combinations of awesomeness. There are bunched of awards for me to try for now, too.
I'm going to use this demo period to get slightly less noobish, as I seem to be now. [ image disabled ]

Well, I think 2142 (and EA) are in trouble. Every lengthy review I've read is mostly negative. I heard almost all bad things from the forums @ Bf2s, totalBF2, SomethingAwful, and even wOw. For many, the demo was the coffin nail. The questionables have turned away from the temptation.
Coupled with poor reviews, the installation process, log-in, and in-game have so many bugs that its just not selling itself at this point.
I really things get turned around in the release patch on the 17th, or there will be empty servers everywhere.
We shall see how Dice and EA handle this....

This is the best quote I've seen yet after looking at forums for hours on end. I've had more fun reading about people playing the demo than actully playing the demo. For the people not totally angry about the quality of the demo, their feelings are summarized well by Pound_Coin. [ image disabled ]
